The first 4/5 of the book are great--again, "Reversible Errors" is symphonic in how well Turow brings everything together and develops the various relationships and events.

But the conclusion doesn't do justice to all of the excellent qualities of the /5(). Although Reversible Errors is about a convicted mentally challenged murderer who is scheduled to be put to death in a few days who claims his innocence and is assigned a court appointed attorney, Arthur Raven, to appeal.; the real story is the relationship of the characters, particularly the budding relationship of Arthur and Gillian Sullivan/5.

A great series with fascinating characters/5(3). Reversible Errors is partly a legal procedural, following the steps of appeals and rulings, but Turow doesn't focus too much on the legal minutiae.

Some of the legal steps do move the action forward -- information that has to be disclosed to opposing counsel, the legal maneuverings -- but it's all secondary to his characters. It was captivating and I recommend it highly. 10 people found this helpful. "Reversible Errors" falls solidly into the "legal geek" subgenre. "Presumed Innocent," the book that put Turow on the map, combined both of these categories - there was ample and interesting technical legal discussion, but underneath it there was also a riveting mystery and personal drama.

This book dates the series as Ciampi continues to drink and smoke during her pregnancy. Otherwise this is a great listen- you feel like you are sitting in a chair in the corner of the room watching those with the best intentions battle the bureaucracy of the DA's office where you never get everything you want but you can still 'put asses in jail'.
